Is long-duration energy storage a disruptive technology waiting its turn—or the backbone infrastructure of a new energy economy, capable of replacing fossil dependence with resilient, investable systems at global scale?
A private (by invitation only) dialogue session hosted by Rocket Mountain Institute and LDES Council.
As global energy systems collide with rising demand, climate volatility, and renewed fossil investment, the question is no longer whether to transform—but how fast, and through what kind of infrastructure. This invitation-only business roundtable convenes senior leaders to examine the emergence of a new energy economy, where long-duration energy storage (LDES) is not a peripheral technology, but foundational infrastructure. Co-hosted by Rocky Mountain Institute and the Long Duration Energy Storage Council at the TPC House, the session creates a high-trust space for pragmatic, market-driven dialogue. Participants will explore how next-generation energy infrastructure—from storage and grids to industrial electrification—can unlock system resilience, enable renewable dominance, and reshape value creation across power, industry, and finance. Grounded in live deals and real procurement challenges, the discussion moves beyond disruption narratives to focus on bankability, standards, revenue certainty, and investment readiness. Ultimately, the roundtable asks how the private sector can lead the build-out of energy systems that are not only cleaner—but more resilient, investable, and economically transformative.

A private (by invitation only) dialogue session.
Plastic pollution is both an environmental crisis and a missed economic and job creation opportunity. This session discusses collaboration opportunities around the Global Plastic Neutral campaign—a scalable, investable circular-economy model that converts all plastic types into construction materials, permanently removing plastic from ecosystems while creating durable local jobs across both developing and industrialized economies.
Join Nobel Laureate and HE President Jose Ramos Horta, who has committed that Timor Leste will become the first Plastic Neutral country in Southeast Asia, for this discussion.

Growing The Well-Being Economy: Youth, Smallholder Farming, and the Future of Rural Prosperity
Thu 22 Jan 2026 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm (CET/GMT+1)
Awakening House (Ochsner: Forum 3)
What if the future of global food systems—and youth employment—depends not on aid alone, but on treating smallholder agriculture as core economic infrastructure for a well-being economy that regenerates people, land, and markets together?
A well-being economy places people, livelihoods, and resilience at the heart of economic decision-making—and nowhere is this more critical than in smallholder and family farming. As food systems confront climate stress, youth unemployment, and fragile rural economies, the first mile of agricultural value chains emerges as a decisive frontier for systems transformation.
This panel convened by Global Citizen in partnership with International Fund for Agricultural Development, and Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa, explores how mobilising catalytic public, philanthropic, and private capital can unlock youth-led entrepreneurship, regenerative agriculture, and inclusive rural prosperity.
Anchored in TPC’s well-being economy framework and aligned with pivotal institutional moments—including AGRA’s 20-year milestone and IFAD’s 14th replenishment—the session shifts the conversation from fragmentation to coordination. Leaders from government, finance, development institutions, and agribusiness will examine practical pathways to scale early-stage infrastructure, services, and market access that regenerate ecosystems while creating dignified livelihoods.
The discussion culminates in a collective call to invest in food systems not as charity—but as foundational infrastructure for resilient economies.

Sports for People and Planet – A Source for Shared Prosperity
Thu 22 Jan 2026 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm (CET/GMT+1)
Flourishing House (Rätia Center: Inspiration Room)
What if sport—one of the world’s most powerful economic and cultural systems—became the engine that redefines prosperity, aligning financial growth with human health, social inclusion, and the regeneration of nature?
Worth over $2 trillion, the global sports economy is a vibrant driver of jobs, prosperity, and health, yet it increasingly faces challenges including climate change and nature loss, and physical inactivity. How can sports leverage its cultural influence, collaborative spirit, and economic power to drive systems transformation for thriving societies and natural ecosystems?
Sport is one of humanity’s most powerful social and economic forces – shaping culture, health and community life across the globe. Few fields have such a profound influence on culture and community, uniting people across borders and backgrounds.
Today, the sports economy is a fast-growing, multitrillion-dollar ecosystem powering global sporting mega-events, adventure tourism, sporting goods and equipment, and active lifestyles, emerging as an increasingly attractive asset class for investors and philanthropists. This potential is especially significant in emerging markets, where sport serves as a catalyst for economic and social development. Far beyond entertainment and elite competition, it is also a vital force for health, inclusion and connection: a microcosm of the systems that shape how societies thrive.
Yet rising health and environmental risks, from sedentary behaviour and extreme heat to air and water pollution, threaten not only the growth of this dynamic economy but also its positive impact on people and communities. The sector faces a double imperative: to safeguard the natural systems that make play possible and to reduce its own footprint, from carbon emissions and resource use to waste generation, so that its growth reinforces rather than depletes the foundations on which it relies.
At this pivotal moment, sport has an opportunity to redefine prosperity by integrating financial performance with societal health and environmental well-being. Following the launch of the Sports for People and Planet report, developed by the World Economic Forum with the support of Oliver Wyman, this session convenes key sports economy stakeholders and decision-makers, including sporting goods, city designers, national governments, sponsors and investors, to explore how sport can enhance and amplify its positive impact through multi-stakeholder action on communities, economies, and the environment.

From Noise to Signal: A Coherent Landing for Davos and Beyond
Thu 22 Jan 2026 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm (CET/GMT+1)
Awakening House (Ochsner: Forum 2)
What if the true measure of Davos is not the ideas we exchange, but the coherence we leave with – a clearer sense of what truly matters and how we choose to act from there?
After days rich with dialogue and inspiration, this closing session offers participants a rare hour to step back from the flow of ideas and reconnect with their own inner signal. It is an invitation to land, reflect, and integrate before returning home. To breathe out, metabolise the intensity of Davos, and allow clarity to emerge from the noise.
Designed for Family Business Network members and their peers, the session creates space for orientation rather than acceleration. Grounded in REMAP, the multi-capital lens, and the FBN Four Drivers of Change, it explores how leadership, capital, and voice can be brought into greater alignment with what genuinely serves Life – across business, investment, philanthropy, and advocacy.
Through a short guided visualization, pair sharing, and reflection, participants are invited to reconnect with what truly matters – in their own bodies, relationships, enterprises, and the systems they influence. REMAP (Radical Empathy, Effectiveness in Service of Life, Mutual Co-evolution, Ancestral Purpose, and Play) supports participants in settling their nervous system, sensing the few threads that matter most, and re-orienting their leadership and resources from that place of coherence.
Building on this orientation, the Four Drivers of Change are introduced as a practical lens for discerning where values, resources, and influence can be engaged more deliberately, illustrated through a real example of a family integrating purpose across multiple forms of capital.
Participants leave not with a long to-do list, but with one clear, embodied sentence of intention: A personal point of orientation they can carry back into their families, enterprises, and lives beyond Davos.

What if the most transformative investment strategy begins not with markets or metrics, but with inner clarity—where self-awareness, values, and emotional intelligence shape how wealth is stewarded across generations and for the world?
A private (by invitation only) dialogue session for family business members hosted by The Impact Office.
Change starts within. This experiential group session explores how our values, beliefs, emotions, and personal history shape the way we invest and steward wealth. Participants will engage in guided reflection and interactive dialogue to understand how inner clarity can transform outer investment decisions.
Together, we will examine how aligning capital with personal growth, emotional intelligence, and a deeper sense of purpose creates investment strategies that are integrated, intentional, and deeply human. Rather than focusing on external frameworks, this session invites participants to explore the internal landscape that drives financial choices, and to consider how conscious inner development leads to more meaningful, purpose-aligned capital deployment.
Core Question:
How can I become the kind of person who invests in a way that reflects who I truly am—not who I’m expected to be—and what I genuinely care about, in a way that benefits me, my family, and the world beyond us?

If the longevity revolution is the most predictable economic transformation of our time – why are we still treating aging as a liability, instead of designing for it as a launchpad for regeneration?
A private (by invitation only) dialogue session hosted by Tsao Family Office.
The world is aging. By 2050, more than 2 billion people will be over 60. This demographic shift is often framed as a crisis—but what if it is one of our greatest innovation opportunities?
The silver economy – spanning healthcare, housing, employment, technology, finance, and social services – represents a multi-trillion-dollar market. But to unlock its full potential, we must shift from transactional solutions to systems that empower older adults as producers of value, not passive recipients of care.
This panel explores how we can architect an age-integrated economy: how AI, digital health, inclusive design, and community-based innovation can converge to build a regenerative model for living and working longer – with dignity, purpose, and wellbeing.
It is not about adding years to life – it’s about designing ecosystems where those years matter.
Join this dialogue to reflect on how your sector can move beyond policies and products to unlock the social, economic, and innovative power of the silver generation.
