Silk Reeling – Exploring the Spiral Threads of the Subtle Body
Wed 21 Jan 2026 7:00 am - 8:30 am (CET/GMT+1)
Awakening House (Ochsner: Forum 2)
In tai chi practice ‘silk reeling’ is the method used to coordinate the parts of the body to achieve whole-body movement: when one part moves, all parts move, or, when the dantian (center) moves, the whole body moves.
Participants will learn a series of soft, steady and continous flow of movements designed to enhance the circulation of qi, followed by a gentle refreshing self-massage and light shaking techniques to remove stagnations.
