Activating Workforce Wisdom: How to Drive the Transition to a Well-being Economy

Thu 22 Jan 2026 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm (CET/GMT+1)
Awakening House (Ochsner: Forum 2)

Format: Panel Session

What if the greatest untapped asset in the transition to a well-being economy is not new capital or technology, but the forgotten wisdom, agency, and trust already embedded within our organisations and workforces?

Unlocking sustainable prosperity in the 21st century requires more than capital, technology, or efficiency it requires rediscovering the wisdom embedded within people and organisations. Across generations, family enterprises, foundations, and long-lived institutions have understood that resilience is built through trust, stewardship, and long-term investment in human capability. Yet even these actors can drift toward extractive practices as systems scale, digitise, and financialise.

This Fish Bowl session explores how organisations can reclaim the latent wisdom of their workforce while transitioning toward regenerative and well-being economies. Bringing together leaders, practitioners, and participants as co-contributors, the conversation examines how leadership behaviours, governance structures, legal frameworks, and operational models either unlock or suppress human potential.

Participants will explore how modern tools technology, data, and new organisational designs can be harnessed not to control labour, but to empower people, strengthen agency, and rebuild coherence between purpose and performance. The session invites reflection on how trust, dignity, and shared meaning can become productive assets, enabling organisations to generate prosperity that is enduring, inclusive, and aligned with the well-being of people, communities, and the systems they depend on.
